i have recently came across this huge online thrift store called thredup and i thought that it would be fun to do a thredup review and see if it is worth buying from!
shipping
first things first, shipping. i don’t know about you, but i dread paying high amounts for shipping!
the awesome thing about thredup is that they only charge $5.99 for standard shipping & if you spend at least $79, you get free shipping.
they shipped my HUGE order for this thredup review in 4 separate packages which took around an average of 3 weeks to deliver.
also, they very frequently have this “buy and bundle” sale which is what i got when ordering for this thredup review. so definitely keep your eye out for that shipping sale!
the shopping process :
thredup makes it very easy to shop and sort through the items with tons of filters that you can’t get at a regular thrift store! you can also save your sizes so that it will always filter out anything that is not in you size!
pricing/sales:
you can get a general idea of the pricing above, keep in mind it will depend on what brands, condition, and items you decide to purchase.
thredup has very frequent sales, usually around 20% off your entire order! also you can get an extra $10 off your first order through this link!
they also often will have sales where they will offer free shipping!

pink corduroy skirt with a cheetah tee & adidas sneakers
this pink skirt is an item i found while shopping for this thredup review & is in amazing condition, you can shop the look below!
- skirt (similar) ~ this skirt is an amazing basic that can be worn in so many different ways!
- similar top ~ this top is so comfortable and one of my go to t-shirts for a casual look!
- sneakers ~ SIZE DOWN at least 1/2 size ~ these are one of the best pairs of sneakers that look cute while still being extremely comfortable. i love wearing these shoes for all types of occasions, especially travel!
- pink knot headband set (comes with a pink, black, & leopard headband for only $3.45!) ~ you can shop more of the best affordable headbands here ~ this headband is a great way to subtly incorporate a spring & summer trend into any outfit!

levi’s casual dress with steve madden dupes & a tweed headband
this beautiful levi’s dress is so easy to wear and can be paired with so many different shoes! it even has pockets, you can shop the look below!
- denim dress (similar) ~ this dress is such a great throw-on-and-go sort of dress that can be worn very casually or dressed up a little!
- pink slip-ons ~ fit is tts ~ these are an amazing dupe for the steve madden sneakers and look great with any outfit!
- tweed headband ~ this headband is so adorable and goes with any outfit. it is super affordable ($2 for a pack of 2, what!!) yet looks very elegant and expensive!

gold leopard print skirt with a simple pink sweater
this lulus skirt that i got for the thredup review is brand new with tags! it is such a beautiful print and sparkles in the light! the sweater was also a thredup find!
- pink sweater (very similar) ~ this sweater is such a beautiful color that, atleast to all the girly girls out there, acts an amazing neutral sweater that can be paired with anything!😉
- gold skirt ~ fit is tts (wearing size small) ~ finding this skirt on thredup that is still available on lulus.com just shows that it is definitely worth checking on thredup before paying full price for something!
- sandals ~ fit is tts ~ these sandals are so pretty with the sequin detailing and are definitely a must have for the summer, especially since they’re only $23!

a more fancy look with some heels & a formal skirt!
this outfit is definitely giving me major blair waldorf vibes from gossip girl! i got this skirt for my thredup review & i am so glad that i found this!
- similar skirt ~ this skirt is so pretty with no flaws, yet on thredup, i was able to get it for next to nothing! i recommend searching for the brand miami on thredup to find more skirts from this designer.
- similar top ~ here is a little trick if you want to make any longer tee look like this, just make a knot in the front and tuck it up, then adjust it until you are satisfied!
- cream heels ~ SIZE DOWN 1 size ~ these heels go with absolutely everything, are easy to walk in, and only cost $11!
- tweed headband ~ same as the other outfit (just wearing the black version instead since it is a set of 2)

this abercrombie and fitch dress is so beautiful and perfect for summer!
i was a little worried that upon doing a thredup review and looking for in season items, i may have trouble finding them, but this just goes to show that thredup offers an affordable selection for any occasion or time of year!
- similar dress ~ dresses like this are perfect for hot summer days or cool spring nights, you can easily style these types of dresses in so many different ways!

vogue top styled with a denim skirt, converse, and a pearl hair clip!
this levi’s skirt was yet another amazing find while shopping for this thredup review! it is such an amazing basic that looks great with so many style tops!
- vogue tee ~ wearing size small, fit is tts, size up for an oversized look ~ this top comes in tons of color options and is only $12!
- denim skirt ~ wearing size 3, SIZE UP at least 1 size ~ this skirt is such a great basic and it is in amazing condition seeing as it is second hand!
- white converse ~ fit is tts, great for narrow feet ~ these are one of my go-to sneakers as they match with any outfit and are very comfortable!
- hair clip set, another one of my fave sets ~ these clip sets comes with so many options and have everything from pearl clips to glitter clips and even pretty bobby pins! they are also both under $11 and come with 20+ clips!

navy blue and white ditsy floral dress styled with the kersha embellished sandals
this stunning dress is another item i found when shopping for this thredup review! it is so light and comfortable for the summer!
- similar dress ~ this dress could be worn any time of the year as there are tons of ways you could style this!

- black headband set ~ option for just black headband ~ set with tons of color options here ~ these headbands look amazing and can be styled with so many different hairstyles!

faux fur vest with ruffled dress and leopard headband
this brand new with tags, blush, faux fur, vest is such a steal! i have been looking for something like this that is affordable for a while now and i have finally found it thanks to my thredup review!
- similar faux fur vest ~ this vest is so affordable yet looks very luxurious and expensive! it is such a statement piece that is very fun!
- gray ruffle dress (similar) ~ this dress is beautiful and such an essential item for every closet, it can be worn on its own or you could spruce it up with a cute jacket (or vest).
- taupe slip on sneakers ~ fit is tts ~ these sneakers are only $25, go with any outfit, and are very comfy! they are also a great steve madden dupe that is much more affordable!
- leopard headband set ~ option for just the leopard ~ this is yet another adorable headband that can add that pop off print to a simple outfit!

black and white plaid skirt with gray top for a cute (somewhat) monotone outfit!
this outfit is definitely more of fall or winter look but i still wanted to share this adorable skirt that i got for this thredup review!
- plaid skirt (similar) ~ this skirt is so versatile and could be worn in tons of different ways! the material is amazing and the fit is extremely flattering!
- gray ribbed top (similar) ~ to give this top a tighter fitting look, i tied the back with an elastic hair tie and tucked the excess fabric into the back of the skirt!
- leggings ~ fit is tts (wearing kids large) ~ these leggings are great for wearing under skirts! they are thin so they do not show through your skirt but they are also very comfortable! here is an adult size option!
- black booties (similar) ~ these booties add a little glitter to any outfit and look amazing at parties, especially around the holidays!

while searching for this thredup review, i came across this gorgeous, new with tags, lauren conrad, skirt!
- similar skirt ~ i love taking formal looking skirts, like this one, and making them into a much more casual outfit!
- similar pink flutter sleeve top ~ this top is so easy to wear and looks great with basically any bottoms!
- blush slip on sneakers ~ same as other outfit
- leopard headband set ~ same as other outfit (can you tell i’m obsessed with them? 😂)

pink floral cami dress from old navy styled (one again) with the famous sandals!
this dress is another item that makes me so glad i did this thredup review! i love how easy to wear this dress is and how it is perfect for the upcoming summer months!
- dress ~ midi version ~ fit is tts (i wear the size xs in both) ~ this dress has a very flattering fit and has adjustable straps as well! since old navy is currently running a sale, this dress is marjory discounted!
- it also comes in a TON of color/pattern options, some of which i linked below!
- sandals ~ same as other outfits
my thoughts after this thredup review
pros:
- thredup is very affordable compared to a regular store
- thredup offers a large range of sizes and styles
- thredup has in season/on trend items at a fraction of the price
- shipping does not take too long and is not too expensive
- the items are all in great condition, if not brand new
- thredup very often has huge sales on top of the low prices
- the packaging is adorable
- shopping on thredup is good for the environment
- free returns are available
- and you can get $10 off your first order through my link!
cons:
- the only con i can think of from this thredup review is that the prices are a bit high for a thrift store, but the items are much easier to sort through, so you can take your pick!
the verdict:
this thredup review was a major success! i found so many amazing items for such great prices! after shopping for, writing, and trying on my clothes for this thredup review i cannot think of any reason why you shouldn’t purchase from thredup!
