there are so many trends that are incredible for this summer! the summer trends for 2020 are very wearable ones that can be styled to fit so many different aesthetics!
i personally am not a huge fan of jumping on trends but it is good to try something new and maybe mix in some more trendy items that you love to your wardrobe!

summer trends for 2020 | tie dye
tie dye is probably the biggest summer trend for 2020! there are so many different color and style options so that everyone can find something they love!
this trend is being seen in everything, and i mean everything! there are tie dye scrunchies, bags, shorts, shoes, headbands, dresses, and so much more!
another smaller trend within this is ‘watercolor’ fashion. this is essentially a muted version of tie dye that has a more girly and feminine look! (an example of this would be the dress above)

this trend is so fitting for summer with the beautiful tropical designs that come in all different types of colors and patterns!
there are more muted options or there are vibrant and colorful choices!
this trend can be easily worn with basics since it is a pattern with a lot going on. this trend is also one that will never go out of style as it is such a summery look that is a classic!

straw bags are something that we are seeing everyone for this summer season! they come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and styles so that you can find one that suits your needs!
there are designs that are fully straw as well as ones that just have a small straw detailing!
there are also in-between versions which mix straw with another material like leather!
these bags are so summery and would look stunning with the tropical prints above for a nice beach day or even a vacation to hawaii!

the trend of exaggerated sleeves (such as puff sleeves) has been going on for a while and is definitely here to stay for summer!

these types of tops come in everything from beautiful floral patterns to great basics that can be worn for decades to come!

crochet is such a big trend for this summer season that is also a classic and can be worn for any summer!
this style gives off such a summery vibe and would be absolutely perfect for the beach or for a nice summer trip!
there are so many different types of crochet so you are bound to find something that you love with all the choices out there!

designs with smocking and ruching are very in style for this summer and are also very flattering on so many different body types!
the most popular version of this right now is a smocked tank top and there are tons of different colors and patterns available in this style!

espadrille sandals have been in style for quite a while now but don’t seem to be going anywhere!

espadrilles can be dressed up or down and can be worn in so many different ways! they are very comfortable while still looking summery and cute!

gold jewelry is a big trend for summer 2020! it can be worn on any skin tone and there are tons of options in every price point!
to be more specific here, i am talking yellow gold and even more specifically yellow gold chain design jewelry (an example of this would be bracelet in the second picture)
this trend is a classic that will never go out of style and can be worn forever!
