& to make matters worse, after creating a campaign around ariana grande with a look alike model & similar clothing from her “thank you next” albums music videos, she filed a $10 million lawsuit
this lead to even more people asking, “is forever 21 closing” since they seemed to be out of money!

so, with this all happening in september, most of us expected them to be going out of business in the following months & that the answer to “is forever 21 closing for real?” to be yes.
instead, it has now been almost a year with no signs of them closing their business down
in fact, they actually have made a statement talking about these rumors that have been circulating like crazy about the question “is forever 21 closing”
forever 21 stated the following to reply to these questions asking is forever 21 closing?, “We … expect a significant number of these stores will remain open and operate as usual, and we do not expect to exit any major markets in the U.S.”
is forever 21 closing? | the conclusion
from what i can tell (at this point in time) it seems as though forever 21 is holding on for who knows how much longer.
it also seems that they may be closing a few stores, but, you can always shop online if the store you typically go to gets shut down!
personally, i am quite glad that the answer to “is forever 21 closing?” is a no right now since they have such affordable, high quality, & cute clothing for seemingly every style imaginable!
now that we’ve answered the question “is forever 21 closing?” let’s get on to the more fun part, the try on haul!
in this try on portion i am sharing with you my all time favorites from forever 21 that make me so glad the company is still in business!
i will let you know how everything fits but just for reference on all the outfits, i am 5″4 & a quarter (got to include that extra 1/4 😂)
i also typically wear a extra small or small / 0 or 2 / 25 or 26 (haha, so many different ways of sizing clothes, can’t they just stick to one!)
first up in my “is forever 21 closing?” + haul post is this gray ruffled dress!
- this dress is such a cute & girly style with the mini length, marled design, & ruffled/peplum hem!
- the fit is true to size, i am wearing the size small
- i would suggest you size up if you are any taller than me since it is pretty short
- it is also a super comfortable fabric & is so easy to wear with sneakers or even with some over the knee boots in the fall & winter time!

gray ruffle dress here | wearing size small, fit is tts | this dress is so girly, cute, & comfy! | here is a short sleeve version that comes in more color choices!
- this dress is also perfect for really any time of the year (i guess maybe not summer unless it’s a chilly day) since it is not thick of fabric & is a mini style!

pink slip on sneakers here | fit is tts | these shoes are an amazing steve madden dupe that i have mentioned so many times on here! they are easy to slide on & go with basically any outfit!

leopard belt here | this belt is a bit big even on the tightest loop so i will probably order this belt loop maker to add an extra notch | this belt is just under $5 & is super high quality!
- you could add this cutie to any basic outfit to give it that pop of pattern!

- it is however also short just like the last dress so definitely size up if you are over 5″4 or it is going to be way too short

mini sweater dress here | fit is true to size, wearing a small | size up if taller than 5″4
- this dress is an amazing basic that everyone needs in their closet since you could wear this in TONS of different ways!
- this dress is also only $15 which is absolutely insane for the quality & softness of this material!
- this would look adorable with a beanie & a long jacket in the winter time or styled with a scarf & some ankle booties for the fall!
- btw the dresses below where the model is wearing a thick black belt is the exact one i am wearing, the other choices are just more similar options from forever 21:
over the knee boots here | these boots are so comfortable & fit true to size | they are also super affordable at just $ & comes in a ton of different color options
- these boots could be worn with so many fall & winter outfits + you can wear them more slouchy or leave them as a tighter style!
- the heel height on these is not too high so they are easy to walk around in & the over the knee style definitely makes your legs look longer!
- also, in the color option i am wearing (which is the “khaki” shade), can be worn with basically any color clothing! they also look pretty similar to the stuart weitzman boots which are crazy expensive!

gucci belt dupe here | i actually got this on amazon but i am 99% sure that this is the same one | it is also only $15 & is amazing quality + it looks just like the real thing!
- this belt is great if you want to test out this belt style before you make the investment in a real gucci belt or if you just like the style but aren’t willing to pay the insanely high price for a single belt.
- this belt, since it is a luxury dupe, can also easily make an outfit look way more expensive than it really is!

- this top is amazing quality, i have had it for a few years now & it is still in amazing condition with no pilling or other flaws!
- just a quick note: this top is pretty cropped so if you do not like that style make sure to size up

mesh side leggings here | fit is somewhat tts, i am wearing a small but i feel like it would be a good idea to size up since they do fit a little tight

rose gold tennis shoes here | SIZE DOWN, these shoes are definitely too big so you should size down at least 1/2 size (i actually sized down 1 whole size)

- if you get this dress you also get the removable belt so then you will have a cute rose gold belt to add on to any outfit to give some extra shine!

- these heels come in multiple colors, they are only $13 & can be worn with basically any outfit!
